#50. PROCESSING OPERATOR – PERMANENT
          PROCESSING
          WAGE GRADE 9

          INTERDEPARTMENTAL

Under the supervision of the process shift supervisor the operator will learn to operate in the various plant areas. The operator is required to spend six (6) months operating one of the plant areas as listed below:

• breaker stacker
• flotation/filters
• dryer
• washer circuit
• loadout
• mobile equipment

Currently the position is a 4 x 4 shift position, however the incumbent may be required to work on other shifts and/or schedules.

The position requires the incumbent to perform heavy manual physical duties.

Upon successful completion of 1,040 hours of training at each process operator level, the incumbent shall progress to the senior process operator position.
