#45.  BUCKET MAINTENANCE TRAINEE – PERMENANT
           MINE OPERATIONS
           WAGE GRADE 14
           DEPARTMENTAL

Under the supervision of the Mine Services & Mine Operations Supervisors, the successful applicant will:

• Be responsible for accounting for all equipment hardware
• Advising on specific consumables
• Efficiently and effectively changing out hoist cables, teeth adapters and trip
  cables so as to minimize the impact on equipment operating efficiencies and
  productivities
• Other duties as required

A main component of the job is to develop strategies to maximize the life of all equipment consumables.

Good communication skills are mandatory. Familiarity with consumables would be a definite asset.

This position is currently a 4 x 4 day/night shift rotation; however, the successful incumbent may be required to work on an alternate shift and/or work schedule.
